Climent (b. 1965)
Lecturer in Music Technology at QUB, Belfast.
Researcher
at the Sonic Arts Research
Centre.
Finished
his PhD in composition at the Queens
University of Belfast in September 2001 under the supervision
of Dr.
Alcorn.
Also a Master in Music Technology (Queen's) in 1997-98.
He has been teaching assistant at the
M.A. Mustech course at Queen's
since 1998, teaching CLM, Csound, C, MaxMsp and other programming
tools applied to composition.
Now he also teaches at the BSc in Music Technology live performance
systems , Electroacoustic compositon and New media technology
(flash,
DWUltradev, ).
Recent
comissions for 2001
and 2002 arised from the Spanish 'Instituto Valenciano de la
Musica' working as freelance and more recently a UNESCO-Aschberg
award as composer in residency in Mexico.

Hobbies:
I can't hardly do anything since my daughter was born!
(including going to the pub which is a 'must' in Ireland)...
but I used to like windsurf and athletics (hurdles).
Now I like building tiny robots or sensors and moving house
every year...
