The“Russolo - Pratella” Foundation of Varese to honor the memory of
the futurist composer Luigi Russolo (1885-1947) organizes the 24th

competition is opened to Italian and foreign composers up the age of
35.

1 - Each competitor can take part with one or two compositions
telling exactly the chosen category:

a) electronic music for tape alone

electronics

2 - Each composition must be recorded separately on CD (preferable)
or DAT, for a maximum length of 15 minutes for each piece and having
a short description.

3 - For section B is requested:
- 1 CD complete of work, with the tape and the instrumental or vocal part

dollars, enclosed as cash in the envelop. The inscription fee is

tie, will not be returned and will become part of the archives of
the "Russolo - Pratella" Foundation. Moreover the Foundation
reserve
itself the right to use this material for the public auditions even
outside its office residence.

9 - An International Jury will listen and value the works and, with

this CD will be inserted the first piece classed in each category
and eventually other pieces pointed out from the Jury. Will be
assigned also some honor's mentions.
Each competitor with his piece inserted in the CD will have 10
copies free. The other competitors with the certificate of
specialization will have 1copies free. The CD will be successively
sent to Institutes, Research Centers, Radios and specialized
magazines.

The Jury sittings, the ceremony of prize-giving and the performance
of the selected works will take place at the Civico Liceo Musicale
