The Southern California Resource for Electro-Acoustic Music (SCREAM) celebrates the 20-year anniversary of the Society for Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States (SEAMUS).

The event includes presentations of electro-acoustic studio music by Jon Appleton, Stephen David Beck, Jon Nelson, Russell Pinkston, Barry Schrader, and Scott A. Wyatt, as well as videos of interviews with the composers.
SCREAM was created by Barry Schrader

in 1986.   For many years, SCREAM presented concerts and broadcasts of electro-acoustic music sponsored by the member institutions. SCREAM currently curates a series of programs that presents the latest work in the field to Southern California. SCREAM is funded by an ongoing grant from California Institute of the Arts, which makes these concerts possible.
SEAMUS, The Society for Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States is a national organization for composers and performers of electro-acoustic music.

Each November, SEAMUS sponsors SEAMUS Electro-Acoustic Music Month, encouraging a variety of concerts and broadcasts of electro-acoustic music. For information on SEAMUS, go to http://www.seamusonline.org/.
