The Audio Services department is responsible for supporting a dynamic range of performances of various instrumentation and staffing in a multitude of venues both on and off the Oberlin Campus. These performances range from ensembles of historic period instruments, to multi-media interactive presentations, to large-scale orchestras, choirs and jazz ensembles. In addition, extensive solo and chamber repertoire is performed throughout the year. The Director of Audio Services must possess the skills and technical knowledge to support and record these performances, and to produce studio recordings of exceptional quality in a panoply of styles.

Compensation: Within the salary range established by the College, this position will be filled at a salary commensurate with experience. Oberlin College provides a generous benefits package including tuition remission for eligible dependants.

Facilities: The Conservatory has excellent performing venues with various levels of recording integration. The TIMARA facility houses a multi-track digital recording studio. The Conservatory owns excellent audio equipment by Grace, Apogee, Sony, Neumann, DPA, Millennia, Genelec, Senheiser, etc.
