Duties: Teach composition lessons and related courses at the
undergraduate and graduate levels, and contribute to the activities
of the Center for Experimental Music and Intermedia (CEMI). Courses
will include computer music and intermedia; and may also include
orchestration, contemporary music literature, or other areas of the
candidate's specialization. Recruit and advise highly qualified
students and participate fully in academic and professional activities.
Qualifications: An active, accomplished, professional composer with
experience teaching at the college level. Earned doctorate in
composition or equivalent experience required.
Rank and salary: Full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor; salary
commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Starting Date: August 28, 2006
